Louis Vuitton Accessories Close Up
I know that the pictures of Louis Vuitton's new stuff posted earlier weren't all that great because they were runway photos and you couldn't really see the accessories that well. So here are some close-up shots. Props to Style.com.

How to spot a fake Louis Vuitton
We all know that fake Louis Vuitton's exist. If you buy your bag at the fairgrounds or on ebay, chances are it's not real. However, unless you are buying from a reputable retail store or from LV themselves, it's hard to be sure if its real or not. These are some tips to help you avoid buying the fakies.
-Fakes have a very generic shape and design to them with the famous monogram plastered all over it. Get to know the shape of the real bags by looking in fashion magazines or catalogs either online or in print.
-Real Louis Vuittons are hand made, that's why they are so expensive; it's not just the monogram. It should look like quality, not sloppy work. If the purse doesn't close correctly or the seams are coming apart at the stitching, then be very careful of it being a fake.
-Online shops recommended by LV themselves from their own website are good. If an online store doesn't have a return policy, then don't shop there; most likely it's a fake. I recommend staying away from ebay altogether, but if you must, then make sure the purse comes with the original packaging like the original box, a branded dust bag, and ID card.

Murakami Multicolor Louis Vuitton Fur for Fall
Along with leopard print and metallic handbags, Louis Vuitton has made some really cool fur-looking bags adorned with giant Louis Vuitton monogram, multicolor patterns similar to that on the Murakami bags. There is also a muff with a similar design that looks very cool. These should be very popular for the holiday season.

Metallic Louis Vuitton Monogram
More from the Fall 2006 line. Somehow having shiny silver and gold metallic purses seems less tacky than the leopard print stuff. It may be a little more vulgar, but I actually like it. I'm sure these metallic monogrammed bags will be all the rage for the holiday season. The weird furry hats still look rediculous though.

More Louis Vuitton Leopard Print and big hats
Fall is pretty much here, so here is part of the 2006 Louis Vuitton Fall collection. As seen earlier there is leopard print scarves and bags as well as shirts and dresses. Fur trim seems to be popular as well as overized hats. Pretty cool for fans of the print.

Scarlett Johansson and Louis Vuitton
I know that these ads are old, but Scarlett Johansson is always worth mentioning. She's laying next to some monogrammed bags... and yeah that's pretty much it. I'll probably post other of their cool ad campaigns later in the future because Gisele and Uma are cool too.

Louis Vuitton Belts
Skinny belts are back and Louis Vuitton makes some nice ones. This unisex belt features a gold buckle and damier canvas print.

Louis Vuitton Scarves
With temperatures dropping and the fall season coming up, people need something to keep their necks warm and this isn't the 80s so turning up your collar isn't an option. You might as well just rock one of these Louis Vuitton wool, cashmere, or wool/cashmere blend scarves. It's either these or something your grandma knitted for you. These look cooler though and make the panties drop. "60% of the time, it works everytime"

Louis Vuitton Leopard Skin
So I guess leopard skin has turned from tacky to chic. I don't exactly when this happened, but Louis Vuitton has decided that it has. They have leopard print scarves and monogram/leopard bags to go with them.

Louis Vuitton Speedy 25
I think the Damier canvas bag is a lot cleaner looking than your typical Louis bag. You get tired of the monogram after a while, and I think the damier canvas gives off a more upscale sophisticated look; it is on par with the more classic lines of other designers such as, Fendi and Bottega Veneta, and less like Gucci, which I feel has made some tacky stuff.

Fashion Week Men's Line
Louis Vuitton is not as famous for it's men's line as it is for its handbags, but I thought their show at New York Fashion Week was pretty impressive. The first picture shows off a cleanly cut motorcycle jacket with their famous luggage collection. The second picture is another motorcycle jacket, but I especially like the hipster shades that it is assembled with; cool tailored denim too. The third picture shows some nice gray pants, which is becoming a trend with both jeans and pants (blue is too conservative now I guess); nevermind the ugly sweater on the model. The final picture seems a little dated to me, though it is still cool. The main problem is that it looks just like a Justin Timberlake clone; It's a look that screams 2005/2006 and not 2007.

Louis Vuitton Sunglasses
These aren't your run-of-the-mill everyday Louis Vuitton shades... These are the product of the collaboration between hip hop genius Pharrell Williams, streetwear mogul Nigo, and fashion designer Marc Jacobs. They are hot and most likely an exclusive collector item.

Louis Vuitton Papillon
New bag from Louis Vuitton. As you can see the classic monogram canvas is used for this functional look. There is even a matching, removable accessory pouch.
